As part of the International Day for Biological Diversity 2026, a webinar on “Harnessing Agrobiodiversity for Sustainable Resilient Food Systems” was successfully conducted on 22 May 2026. The programme highlighted the importance of agrobiodiversity in ensuring food security, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. The webinar featured expert sessions by Dr. Sanjay Arora (ICAR-CSSRI), Soumik Banerjee, Dr. Naba Kumar Goswami (TERI-NE Centre), Dr. E.D. Israel Oliver King (MSSRF), Balan Paramoola, and Dr. Vipin Das. Participants from different sectors actively joined the discussions, making the event an informative platform for sharing knowledge, field experiences, and ideas for biodiversity conservation and sustainable food systems.
