BANGALORE — Latha Suresh, President of the Wayanad District Tribal Development Action Council (WTDAC), presented the tribal health scenario in Kerala during the 5th edition of the Bridging Evidence into Public Health Policy Conference held at IIM Bangalore.
She highlighted the importance of participatory research and community-led action in addressing the emerging challenges in tribal health. Her presentation emphasized the need for evidence-based, inclusive, and culturally sensitive approaches to improve health outcomes among Indigenous communities.
